Comments:

Graduated from Purdue with a degree in Hotel Management. I worked in Columbus for a year or so, and then took the next year to explore. I drove all over the U.S. in a Dodge Caravan, sleeping in a make-shift bed in the van while parked in campgrounds or parking lots. With the exception of having my purse stolen once, I truly enjoyed the experience. Learned and saw a lot. But after a year of that, it was time to stay in a place with 4 walls and a bathroom. Picked AZ to start anew. Subsequently met my future husband and in 2001, I convinced him that having a Sky Diving wedding in Las Vegas was the way to go. After 10 years in the hotel biz, I quit working as a Senior Sales Manager at a Scottsdale, AZ resort in 2004 to stay home and have fun with my 3 precious little boys.

School Story:

I have many fond memories of good times with great friends in high school. Nothing really crazy from me, though I went to a lot of Bishop Flaget dances and got to be a really good wallflower! :) Because I was so awkward with dates, I pleaded with Theresa (Harken) to double-date with me to at least 1 prom and 1 Sadie Hawkins dance.

I really enjoyed things like being a class officer and on student council (I'm a dork) and my favorite teacher was Mr. Dunn.

I'm proud of our tennis team (yes we had one) for going undefeated for 3 years. Lobbed a ball right onto Ms. Shaar's head one day. Might have been on purpose, just to see if I could. :)

Going to New Orleans with the Cavalites. Cheering with Shannon Smith, Yolanda Thomas and Felicia Kerney. Being sent to Saturday School by Mr. Crabtree, the Saturday AFTER school let out for the year. Being called into Mr. Yates' office by Mr. Bailey, for telling him that a decision of his "sucked". (see? that's about as crazy as I got.) Scrambling for Participation Points in Mr. Wallace's gov't class.

Had an absolute blast in Myrtle Beach for our senior trip, where Mike Beatty was our honorary room-mate. Bryan Morris passed out on our balcony, so we sprayed him with shaving cream and, for some unknown reason, put a sandwich in his open hand.

Yep, this about sums us up. After ditching our nice sky-diving wedding "one-sies", we cleaned up for a small private dinner. And cake. Can you tell that we had some cake? April 2001
