Me, mom, my sister Kim and brother Adam relocated to Richmond VA during the last 3 months of my junior year at CHS 87-88 and spent my senior year of high school here while my sister returned to CHS and graduated in 89 (a year early). This was a very hard move to make and leave all of my wonderful CHS classmates in OH, but I made it through the year and graduated.
Before we moved, we visited Richmond to look for a house. After I had a chance to stay in a hotel with Def Leopard, Tesla and the Chippendales from Florida for a week, I was SOLD! What a week to remember and stories to tell!
After I graduated high school I hung out with some great bands for 10 years and was married to a bass player. Someone forgot to tell me he was "married to the band first", so when I caught a clue... we parted ways.
The story does end happily ever after because this allowed me to marry my best friend about 11 years ago, Chris, and we have 2 beautiful children, Caitlin and Ryan. My daughter already wants to be an Ohio State Cheerleader and my son wants to be a Dentist. He originally wanted to be a fireman and when I told him it could be dangerous he quickly decided on being a dentist. LOL
We have 3 cats (Momma and her 2 babies). Haley (momma) acts like a hermit and lives under our bed. Socks thinks he is a dog. His brother Pewter has an identity problem and thinks he is a "baby girl". My daughter likes to dress him up and put him in the baby bed to sleep with a blanket. So that is my family; silly and very happy!
On a very sad note; we lost my brother Adam at age 26 to a tragic car accident in 7/2003. We miss him terribly, but have fond memories of how silly and fun he was to be around.
