My life since high school... I attended Wittenberg University in Springfield Oh and graduated with a BA in Spanish and English. Moved to Dallas TX in 1993 started as a volunteer with VESS (volunteers for education and social services, unfortunately no longer in existance). I later got a paid position at my volunteer placement site, Catholic Charities Immigration Counseling Services and continued working there until 1997. I also met my husband in TX (he's a native, born in El Paso). We got engaged and moved to Ohio in '97. I attended grad school at OSU '97-'99 and got an MA in Spanish (Latin American Lit). I taught Spanish at OSU, Columbus State, & College of Wooster. I started the job as Christian Education Director at Karl Rd. Christian Church in Columbus in Sept. 2000 and have been there ever since. I also teach a class of 4/5 year olds at a Mother's Day Out Program and have just recently started a business as an independendt consultant for Tastefully Simple. In the midst of all this stuff I've managed to travel to Spain (senior semester abroad in college) and Mexico (once with OSU as an advisor and once just for fun with friends). I also have two beautiful daughters ages 6 & 2 (and a dog and a cat!)and we just bought our first house last year. Can't wait to find out what everyone else has been up to:)
