Cicero-North Syracuse High School
Class of 1972
ANNOUNCEMENTS

It is with great sorrow I have to report the passing of a very beloved classmate.

Sue Loeffler earned her wings and left this world for heaven on June 22, 2022.

I will always be grateful to Charlene Bauer LaFleur for hosting get-togethers for the Girls of '72. Sue very seldom missed any of our get-togethers and I have years of wonderful memories as well as pictures of Sue. I am also grateful to Chris Nye and Larry House for hosting a 45th reunion for us as little did we know that Sue would not make it to our 50th reunion. At our 45th reunion we were given the gift of being with Sue for the day and she was in wonderful spirits and healthy and she was in her element being with all of her classmates.

Sue was looking forward to our 50th reunion and we were all looking forward to seeing her. She will be sorely missed at the reunion. Fly high our dear friend.

It is with a very heavy heart that I had to add one of the best friends I ever had to our In Memory section. Carl Vandewalker informed me that his cousin, Mark Mancini, passed away Tuesday, April 19,2022. Everybody loved Mark. I was priviledged to be in the same clique he was in and to call him my friend. OH THE FUN WE HAD!! Mark is in every one of my memories of Cicero High. The longest time I ever laughed, and laughed the hardest, involve a skit Mark and I had to do for one of our classes. I could literally write a book on some of our adventures. Rest In Peace My Beloved Friend and May God Hold You In the Palm of His Hands. Renné Harrington

For my Class of '72 friends--I visited Carmen's grave today and I told him I was there representing our whole Class and that we talk about him all the time and miss him and we will never forget him. I put forget-me-not flowers on his grave to let him know he isn't forgotten. The pic came out terrible and you can only see the forget- me-nots on the right side of the pic with a powerful magnifying glass. Oh well it's the thought that counts..

The Forum CHS Newspaper Vol II No II

The attached link takes you to a pdf copy of the Cicero High School "The Forum" school newspaper.  This is an issue that came out in December 1969, immediately before we started going to the new school.  It was printed on oversized paper, so each page had to be cut to accomodate the scanner.  Each page has a page "a" and "b" (e.g. 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, etc.)  Much of the original was faded so what you see is close to what the original copy looks like now.

You should be able to rotate the document to make it easier to read.
