I know very little about Lou but this may help: Lou and his wife and infant son lived downstairs from me when I lived in Mt Washington (72/73). I tried several times to meet up with him since we went to school together but never caught him even once. My fiance' (at the time) and I were asked to baby sit their child while they were out of town. So I was actually in his apartment, and still did not get to see him. A few weeks later they moved out.  I heard a few years later that he had passed.

Hello Rick - I'm so glad that someone was able to recapture Lou's life on here. I had no idea that he was that talented. I also apolgize for my information concerning his death. I didn't know he lived for another ten years.

Louie and I became very close in high school. He had a 1963 or1964 Plymouth and I had a 1965 Plymouth. We would drag race in front of Mt. Carmel Frisch's on Rt. 32. I was in Auto. Mech. and he was in regular classes at Glen Este.Louie was very -how would you say it - very intense and very introspective,Louie wanted to go skiing-so we did. Louie and I, went on an overnight, to Ski Trails near Mansfield one weekend.Louie almost broke a leg on a downhill jump.We also went down to Clifton one weekend to buy drugs. Not for me, but for Louie .We waited in a shop on Calhoun St. for a dealer. When he showed up Louie bought drugs from him. I regretted that night for a long time.I tryed to talk Louie out of it.Some times you can't reach people.Years later when I was married, I heard about Louie's death.I heard about the circumstances surounding his death. I have come to the conclusion that it involved a drug deal.I don't know whether he killed himself or was killed. Either or God rest his soul.

Peace to Louie

Fred Litchfield
