Robert Wehrle

Robert J. "Bob" Wehrle, 63, of Batavia, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at his residence.  He was born February 23, 1952, in Cincinnati, son of the late Robert C. and Betty L. Lilly Wehrle.  Bob is survived by his son, Bobby (Jaclyn) Wherle: brother, Randy Wehrle; sister, Cindy (Rick) Newcomer and several nieces and nephews.  In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Wehrle and sister, Susan Wehrle.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 4473 Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd, Cincinnati.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Old Cemetery.

It was rare that girls got swats, but when they did it was a very soft blow. Someone was getting swats in the hall and Bob and I started making noises like wooooooo, Well the substitute teacher came in and motioned me and Bob to come outside. He gave us each three of the hardest swats ever.
