"Spook" (his unusual eyes gave him that nickname). He was a alert, kind and gentle person with good taste. He had burdens that he never elaborated nor begrudged-- caring for his ailing mother. He was smart. He went the extra mile to make things right. I saw him many many years ago...he was a jewelery store manager in Tri-County, and he helped me pick out a gift for Christmas.
I didn't know Ray very well, because he seemed so quiet. I loved his eyebrows, at that time I thought they were so distingushed. So very sorry to hear of his passing. It's hard to read how many we have lost from our class.
