Sylvia Sue Scott passed away following a battle with cancer, on Friday, April 27, 2012 and is now at peace. (Information provided by Joan Parks Hearst)
Very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. Sue was the first date I ever had and we went to a dance at Sycamore School - I kthink it was ninth grade. My brother Robert/Bob Bond (CHS '65} was friends with her brothers and they lived at the NW corner of &th and Yale. We were across the street from Sycamore at 234 W 8th.
I am sad, but know that Sue is now with the angels. She was a good friend and we had kept in touch all these years. I spoke to her via telephone less than a month ago. She was home and her voice was upbeat. I was still praying that she was in remission. So, it was quite a jolt when I got the phone call from Joan last week. May Sue's family be comforted knowing she is now at peace. God bless them.
