20-Year Reunion

The reunion will be held over the weekend of July 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2009 in Claremont. 

A block of rooms will be reserved at the newly renovated Doubletree Hotel Claremont (formerly Griswolds and the Claremont Inn) for Friday and Saturday evening for Class of 1989 members traveling to the reunion from out of the area at a special discount rate of $119.00 per room per night.  Please let us know if you are considering staying at the Doubletree and how many nights you are planning on staying there. We will need to give the Doubletree an estimate of how many rooms to reserve.

FRIDAY, JULY 24
To kick-off your reunion weekend, the Class of ‘89 will be hosting an All Alumni Welcome Night Cocktail Party.  The festivities will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 24th, at Casa de Salsa (formerly Don Salsa) in the Griswold's Old Schoolhouse, located on the northwest corner of Foothill and Indian Hill Boulevard.  This event will be open to ALL former Claremont High School alumni, so please invite and encourage members of other classes to attend as well.

SATURDAY, JULY 25
After spending a relaxing day poolside at the Doubletree or strolling through the Village, we will re-group for the main event, which will be held on Saturday, July 25th, at Hixon Courtyard, located on the campus of Harvey Mudd College, from 5:00 PM to 11:00PM.   Come prepared to enjoy an evening cocktail party, feast on a delicious dinner catered by Gourmet Gourmet, and dance the night away to 80's dance music and videos under the stars.

SUNDAY, JULY 26
We are currently discussing ideas for a farewell breakfast or other casual gathering to say goodbye on your way out of town.  Please feel free to offer your suggestions.
