Ed was a friend of mine. I remember going to the Fox theatre to see the moive, "Easy Rider". Afterwards as we were walking out he turn to me and said, "Would they really do that in the South"? My answer was, "Yes".
Ed was a friend and basketball teammate. While not the most gifted athlete, Ed worked as hard as any of us, never missed a practice and gave his all to help us as a team. I'm glad I was able to visit with Ed at our 30year reunion.
