After I graduated from high school I went to U of F & wanted to be a veterinarian. I quickly discovered I hadn't taken enough math in high school to compete with the engineering students in chemistry. My hopes were dashed & I decided to go into music. I was doing really well, but got an ultimatum from the guy I was dating that if I didn't marry him when he graduated, that was it. So I sold my horse & got married & we went to Wisconsin. I put him through for an MS in American history. Then since he had gone ROTC he went into the service & we traveled to Ft Benning, GA, then Ft Hollibird, MD, then Ft Riley, KS. In Ft Riley I fianally got to do what I wanted to do & I broke colts for the stable sargent & taught the officers kids how to ride. My husband went to Vietnam & I came back to Clearwater. I brought a couple horses back with me, & when he got home we moved back to Wisconsin where I put him through for a PHD. My old horse & a runnin' quarterhorse & the dog went with us. Then I sold the runnin' quarterhorse & we took the old horse & the dog to Ontario with us. In Ontario I trained & showed horses for 20 years, sang in coffee houses, boarded & showed cats, & worked for veterinarians, & then went into real estate. I was married & divorced twice after that & came back here again. I'm still in real estate & my 4 cats & my dog & I are a happy family. Iv'e had a couple power boats & enjoyed the boating scene. The cats didn't like the sound of the engines, but the dog loved boating. Things got pretty tough in real estate for a while, as you know, & all I did was work. Now it looks like things are improving & this is a much better year. I am really optimistic & have some time to do a few things I want to do again. I love partying & being in the pool. Of course, I still work hard, but now it all feels worth it.
