In all my Elementary classes together. Quiet and shy, but, always willing to be your friend.

I agree, she really did try hard to please people. She wanted to be accepted very badly.
We were friends from Mrs. Block's fourth grade class through junior high. She introduced me to transister radios, The Beatles, and The Dave Clark 5 - I didn't know anything about these things or music.
She felt it was her moral obligation to make sure that I knew and appreciated them, AND, she succeeded! For this, I am forever indebted to her.

Lois was a friend for my entire three years at Heights. It was not easy making friends when you were new to the system in High school; most friendships had been formed in middle school (opps...Jr. High) and others could not get into those circles. Lois was different. I was quite shy and she engaged me in conversation and we became friends in our homeroom. I remember her fondly.

She was my best friend for years before and during high school. We lost touch after I married and moved, and I remember hearing about the accident before I knew it was HER and when I found out, I was devastated.
