Dale and I were best friends since we met at Monticello Jr. High. We were always hanging together all through High School, forming the band the Mark Four in our junior year,playing the after game dances on Friday nights, Cain Park city sponsored open house dances, and the Teen Fair at Cleveland Convention HALL, and other venues the summer of our senior year, were some of my best memories together. We still hung out all the time through the 70's, going to the10th reunion together, while he worked as a stationary engineer at University Hospital. He was in my wedding party in 1976, even after a serious motorcycle accident in 1984, he was always there for me. SADLY, he passed away November 14,1981 in a car accident on the Shoreway on his way home from work while helping a motorist who stalled in the early dark early morning hours. He was always there, even for strangers,gone but remembered every day.
