How many of you remember the huge party that took place on North Park in 1969!!!!It was just to be a gathering of friends that turned into a huge event when Billy Bass of WMMS announced it on the radio. It was Keren who introduced me to Billy Bass who was a fan of the Missing Links who were playing at that party. Were you there??
I will treasure my memories of Keren.

KEREN BLOOMFIELD OBITUARY

Keren Bloomfield was a vibrant and active member of the Santa Cruz community. She was the owner of the fair trade art gallery, Artforms, in downtown Santa Cruz. Whether it was holding free concerts in front of the store, classes after hours, or hosting artists and musicians from around the world, Keren made it possible for everyone to experience something outside of their world.

Keren passed away on January 29, 2007 after a long courageous fight with breast cancer. She was 55 years old. It is the tradition of her family to hold a ceremony of prayer and remembrance at the unveiling of a loved one's headstone. This is an opportunity to both rejoice her life, and to find peace in her death. The service will be held at Soquel Cemetery, 550 Old San Jose Road at 2:00pm.

Keren is survived by her daughters Jessica, Sarah, Julianna and Alizah Davis. She is also survived by her parents Daniel and Frances Bloomfield, her brother Barry Bloomfield of Calgary, Canada and her brother Michael Bloomfield of Victoria, Canada.
