Andy was a wonderful guy. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. He was a great skier and many of us around the neighborhood knew him because of his interest in skiing.
He was a very successful businessman, and he died just last year. Several of his good friends, Don Pfeffer, Jeff Suva, Victor Gerdin, came to my place in Sedona AZ in order to celebrate his life because we missed his funeral. Wally Gottron was there in spirit, and on the telephone, from his home in Singapore. It was a wonderful weekend, and we raised more than a few beers to good old Andy.
He was a great family man and left a wife and children behind --- I'm sorry that I didn't keep up with him later in his life.
