Deanna was one of my dearest friends and neighbor. We used to walk to school together, back in the days, when the weather was good. Sadly she passed away 10/15/02 after a brave fight against cancer. She was a special ed teacher for Cleveland Public Schools, and was very devoted to her kids. She will be missed.

Although I haven't seen Deanna since high school, I still remember her smile, warmth, and honesty. May her memory be for a blessing.

Deanna was very a good friend of mine. I did not realize that she was sick and passed away. She was a very nice girl and we shared a lot. She will be missed!!

Deanna was very warm and friendly. We were in homeroom together and talked often. I am sadden to hear of her passing. It is a blessing to know that she fought the good fight and was an Educator. Rest in peace my friend.

Deanna and I were friends at Wiley and Heights and then we taught together at Clark Elementary in the early 1970's. Amazing that she was a Title I reading teacher and now I am also a Title I teacher in Cleveland Heights. I was sad to hear that she passed away. She was fun to work with and had a beautiful daughter.

Deanna's death is a shock to me. I can specifically remember her voice, She was so sweet and soft spoken

I didn't know when or how Deanna had died, but it truely saddens me. She was warm and friendly, and had a great smile. I miss her.

Deanna and I were friends for many, many years. We went through school together. I knew her whole family and we were always together. Then, we sort of drifted apart. A few years later, we reconnected and became friends again. She even did some school/teacher related activities in my classroom. I knew her married family, in which I still do. Her kids were so wonderful. Deanna and I use to get together with her children. Then we driffed apart again. One day while I was at the hospital with my mom, I saw someone and they told me about Deanna. What a lose to this world. She was a sweet, caring, loving human being. I will always think of her. Deanna, may you rest in peace. Love always, Harla
