I can't believe it has really been almost 40 years since Heights!!! How is that possible? After Heights,(which I LOVED), I went to The Ohio State University. After I graduated, I moved to Maine for a short time, to Philadelphia, and back to Columbus. I wanted to be close to family, but not too close... I coached varsity girl's basketball for a while, and I have taught in the Columbus City School System since moving back. I teach special education English in a high school. I guess, in a way, I feel like I'm still waiting to graduate!! I have continued my education, mostly with courses I enjoy. I am married to Ernie Mandell and, he came with the extra bonus of Paul, my 16 year old step-son, who was 3 when I met him. We own three Dairy Queen Franchises, and life is always sweet! I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my two dogs. I am very much involved with the Franklin County Dog Shelter. We LOVE to travel, any chance we get.
