ROGER SHERMAN Obituary

Roger A. Sherman 65, passed away Nov. 21. Beloved brother of Renay Chesler. Devoted uncle of Richard Chesler. Beloved son of the late Mae and Ted Sherman. Loving companion of his border collie, Luna. Roger was an enormously generous, kind and gentle person who loved dogs, nature, gardening, music and reading. He will be missed by his extended family of cousins and many dear friends. Services will be held Friday, Nov. 25 at 12 noon at the BERKOWITZ- KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. TAYLOR RD. CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH.Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence of Rhonda and Michael Feldman, 205 Jackson Dr., Orange, OH. FRIDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 7 P.M. Friends who wish may contribute to the Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village.

Met Roger at a Battle of the Bands in 1965 at Roosevelt Junior High. We became fast friends and shared many great times over the next 50+ years. Countless dog excursions, many bands, talked for hours and hours, and shared each other's joys and sorrows. Miss you, buddy.
