I've been involved in solar and renewable energy since 1973. I operated in Cleveland until 2006, when I got a great job in Sacramento Calif, that promised rapid advancement and lifetime opportunity...it went bust in Jan, 2008. I am now involved witha start-up in Paso Robles (wine country) that has created the world's first ethanol production APPLIANCE that goes at your house. It looks like a gas pump, but makes 198 proof ethanol fuel for vehicles at about $2/gal. I'm also starting to teach solar energy to contractors and tradespersons wanting to get involved in solar energy. I worked for CH/UH school district as a carpenter from 1988-2000...never in a million years did I Imagine when I was at Heights that I would work for the district in that capacity....it's been a long, strange trip...I've been privileged to participate in the emergence of the commercial solar industry in the US full-time since 2000, and have managed the construction of some of the largest solar installations in the US.

Running the 100 yard dash against East Tech and WINNING (against their third string, the other guys were in the relays). Then the next meet, seeing the crushed look on Coach Mann's face as I was pulling ahead in the 100 dash....only to pull a hamstring because I hadn't warmed-up properly, and was finished for the season....
Losing the student council president's race because PC had the ballot box stuffed(rumor???)
Myself and my three buds(who shall remain nameless, but their initials are Jon Franzolino, Bruce Leary, and Barry Isaacs) on the track team telling Coach Mann that we were going to do some "road work" (run 5 miles on the mean streets of CH), then run across the street to my house on Washington, and play cards for an hour, then sprint back and get sweaty so it looked authentic...
