Ron was a great friend. We met in kindergarten and remained friends all through the years until his passing. He was very smart, an excellent trombone player, very funny, and had a little bit of a wild streak. It was that wild streak that led us on some of the best adventures of my high school and college years. He certainly had his hardships and perhaps didn't make the best life decisions. But he was a compassionate and empathetic person who was always ready to take your side. I will miss him very much.
