Ruth V. Tressler, age 81, of Euclid for 50 years, died January 26, 2017. She was born January 5, 1936 in Cleveland. Ruth was a 1954 graduate of Collinwood High School, a life member of the S.N.P.J., she was very involved in her kids P.T.A. and was a teacher's aid for the Euclid City Schools. She also worked for the Weatherhead Company of Cleveland.

Ruth was an avid Snoopy Fan, who loved her ice cream and loved to people watch. She is the beloved wife of the late Ray Tressler; dear mother of Gary A. (Eileen) of Sandy Hook Connecticut and Laura (William) Kessel; grandmother of Erin, Sarah and Emily. Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, John Gosnik and sister, Elfrieda Marropodi.

The family will receive friends at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to meet at 11 a.m. for mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday Jan. 31, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Parish, East 200 St. & Lakeshore Blvd. Interment All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio.
