Alexis N. Hodges - Class Of 1964

Alexis Brown, '64, lost her 10 year battle with lung cancer just before Christmas. Her tired little heart fluttered to silence on the 17th.
Her children and I, her companion of 16 years, were with her when she passed. The docs wanted her to write a book on what she did to beat the odds by a factor of 20. I prepared and fed her Japanese cuisine for years with minimal animal protein and high veggies which she felt was instrumental in maintaining her health for so long. The medical folks loved her, too, she was a favorite. She was certainly a special lady.
