ANNOUNCEMENTS

It's Reunion time again and this time the 60th! Where has time gone?

We will have an event on Friday, April 5, hosted by Tommy McDaniel.  We will meet at 2nd Street Bean Restaurant, 321 2nd Street, Columbia at 5:30 pm.  There will be food and fun reminiscing with our friends. We thank Tommy for providing this event to give us another opportunity to visit with each other.

Saturday morning we will go to the Marion County HIstorical Museum for a tour at 10:00 am.  Our own Carol Durham is the curator and has done an outstanding job during her tenure.  She currently has an exhibit of images from the 50's, 60's and 70's photographed by B.B. Bradley, former Columbian-Progress photographer for many years.  Mr. Bradley's family has donated his files and collections to the museum and Carol undertook the task of going through the files to fiSnd gems and treasures of those decades.  As many of you know, Mr. Bradley took lots of photos, but we never saw some of them developed!  It is amazing to look at these images and find yourself and others that you will remember.  I could spend hours looking and wish I lived in Columbia to help with this enormous project!

Saturday evening, April 6 at 5:30, we will have a dinner at the Magnolia Grille, behind WalMart.  I have sent out anemail with all the details.  Cost for the dinner, room rental, and other expenses incurred is $50.00 per person. Please submit your payment to me by March 15.  The email explains all the details. Those who don't have email have been sent letters in the mail.  If you see anyone or know anyone who hasn't received word of the reunion, please let me know their contact information.

Hope to see all of you in Aprill!
