Hors d'œuvres Buffet & Cash Bar -

Join us for a fun night of pool, beer, barbecue and reminiscing about the "good old days."  Barley's is known for their prize- winning barbecue and their house-brewed beer.    We will have an hors d'oeuvres buffet including mini-bbq sandwiches, chips & salsa, salads, veggie tray, cheese tray, desserts & more.  Dress is casual.

Rotolo's won our pizza challenge - so it will be served at the picnic. 

Tickets are $15/family (if purchased online before 8/17/09) including one large pizza, salad & dessert - what a bargain!  Extra pizzas can be ordered for $10 each, if needed for your family.

Why Wyman Woods?
 
Remember the class picnics, square dances and sledding days at Wyman Woods?  The place hasn't changed a whole lot since we were young but it is a great place to revisit after all of these years.
 
Wyman Woods has a large shelter house, plenty of space to run around including open fields and the woods, playground equipment and a volleyball net. Parking is also away from the play area and the park is by the fire station in case emergency attention is needed.
 
Who's invited?
 
You do not need to have children or bring a significant other to attend. We would just love for you to come and visit with us as we spend time catching up. We welcome all children (big and little) and can't wait to visit and meet everyone's family.
 
 
When will it start?
 
The picnic is from 11:30-1:30. We understand it is on a Sunday so we tried to accommodate most people's schedules (ie starting after an early church service but before naps and ending it so you can still travel home that day or do the things you want to do before the work week begins).
 
If you can't come right at 11:30 or have to leave before 1:30, that's ok! Simply come when you can and stay for as long as you wish.
 
 
What should we bring to eat?
 
Nothing. Since some people will be coming from out of town, and others haven't been to Grandview in a while, we thought it would be fun to "vote" for our favorite Grandview-area pizza.  Instead of having everyone try to bring something, lunch will be included in the picnic fee.
