I remember Linda as being a kind, friendly person. I am glad that we had an opportunity to have classes together and become friends in high school.

I can't believe Linda is gone. I had not seen her since high school. But we were good friends in school. She was such a sweet and kind person.

Linda was my very best friend, we grew up together, we was going to do so many things together after High School.  We lost touch for a few years; because of College and trying to pursue our careers, but found our way back to each other, and started making plans about getting together.  She was living in South Carolina, and I in Concord.  The last time I heard from her was a Christmas card she sent to my family in 1994.  I didn't know her husband at all, we hadn't met each other and I hadn't seen her family in many years, I found out about her death from a friend at a gas station. She was killed in a car accident on January 3, 1995. It just about killed me, a best friend and I didn't know, what kind of friend was I?  i guess that it wasn't in the plan for me to know about her death until later.  So, in Linda's memory I named my biological daughter after Linda Denise Bowen.  My daughter's name is Hannah Denise, and I have told her so many things about Linda.  She could light up the room with her smile.  She was a true friend, and I miss her every day.
