All the kids were in Kona in early September when my mom passed away. So we decided to seize the moment and do the family portrait. Kids are (l-r) Mikella, 20; Andy, 28; Garratt, 23 and Ryan, 25.

I had dinner with Nancy Blair (Hilbrands) and her husband, Ron in Meridian, ID - just outside of Boise - on September 19. So great to catch up with Nancy again!

On Sept 20, Diana Farsnworth (Horvat) came to Corona to be with me at my mom's memorial service at First Baptist Church.

We just finished being in Badplaas, South Africa (10/21/08) to remodel a home for a Grandmother caring for her 5 orphaned grandkids, and built a home for a 14 and 5 year old sister and brother who were orphaned in June. What a blessing to be God's hands to these lovely people! A friend from Brazil and from the Netherlands joined us, and we worked with local builders.
