I was shocked when I heard Rito passed. My fondest memories of Rito are how he loved baseball. Rito was another one of my life long friends that I attended Elementary, Jr.High, and High School with. I remember coming up through the years how quiet Rito was, at least that is what he wanted everyone else to think because around many of us he talked up a storm. You are missed Rito. My prayers are with his family and loved ones.

Band was always so much fun and I always remember Rito doing the "Pee Wee Herman" dance at the football games. He was so funny and always made me laugh.

I looked up the obituary and he died on December 15, 2004. I didn't know about that. He was so funny. He was always smiling! Very shoking!

Rito was my best friend since i had met him in the 7th grade at shannon jr high. We were both in band, football and baseball together. Rito was as funny and as great of a pal anyone could ever have.

I remember many days spent cruising in his old burnt orange ford pickup listening to dwight yoakum and george strait. life would not have been the same for me in those younger years without him around to share experiences with.

If there was anything that anyone needed; Rito definately was there for you. I can honestly say that his passing was very hard on me and it has taken a long time to open up about it. He was a true "buddy" in every sense of the word. I miss my friend and hope that others that knew him will keep him in their memories until we meet again.

I first met Rito at a little league baseball game. After he made fun of me for not being able to hit the ball. He pulls me to aside to show me techniques and motions on how to hit the ball. I asked him later why he took the time to teach me, and he response with "Now that we're hanging out I don't want them making fun of me." Rito was always someone you can have a laugh with. He always had something funny to say. Thank Rito for the fun and laughs.
