Comments:
After graduation didn't do too much. Had planned to at least go to Del Mar but that didn't happen. Went to VA for brief time. Then to NC, Ft Bragg for about a year and 1/2. That is where I met my husband. He was 82nd Airborne. We got engaged right before he was going to be sent over seas to Turkey. I was finally going to go to school (me, Gaby & Josie or was it Nancy, can't remember) while he was doing his tour....didn't happen! About after a month of being in Turkey by himself, Scott flew me over and we got married. It was pretty much a vacation. We had way, way to much fun! Got back to NC in 96 got married again for the family. About a month later, my dad died. That was pretty tough. I go back home every other year to see my mom and family. My mom comes up here too, I show her the slowwww paced country life I live now. Riding on the tractor or golf cart, thru the woods, and during the summer taking the boat down the Cape Fear river. Like I said we havefun! Alyssa came along and we had to focus on her for about the first year. Once we got over the health issues (sugeries) she's been nothing but perfect. She claims shes going to be the next American Idol. She loves to sing. The biggest crowd she's sang in front of was at our church. We do alot of out door activites, boating, cornhole, volleyball is one thing me and my husband love. We enjoy our all our friend and family. We have an awsome church family as well. Life has been good. My husband works for timewarner cable. Has been there ever since we got back to the states. I worked for a small office supply store and was office manager up until about two years ago. Then I needed a change. I finally started to go back to school. Wanted to be a nurse (LPN) but once again ...only got as far as a nursing assistant. I got my insurance license instead and have been working for Farm Bureau. I like it, but I still would love to do the nursing thing. That's pretty much it..time flies when your having fun!!!!!
