Thanks, Guida.  So glad people are still enjoying it.  If anyone has any ideas for getting people more involved, I'd love to hear about them.  I know a lot of people have businesses or crafts they make and sell (you do and I know there are others).  What about showing them on our website - might get some sales and I'm sure people would love to look at your darling items.  What do you all think?

Oh MY GOSH!!  I just found out I'm going to be a great-grandma....but I'm toooo young!!  Actually, I said the same thing when I became a grandma at 45 - then discovered it was the best name in the whole world.  Our almost 22 year old granddaughter, Megan and her finance C.J., are going to have a baby in April.  They live in Minneapolis - darn...too far away.  This is shocking!!  Anybody else out there a great-grandparent??

I have 2 fantastic step-great grand children, Robert & Sophia.  I just found out my grandson Nicholas and his wife Katie are expecting, and I will be a biological great grandfather.  Due April 15.

Congratulations, Jesse!  New babies in the family are such a blessing....even if we have to be old to get them.  I'm so excited for my granddaughter.  She's beautiful and I know her baby will be too.

Well, I'm not going to be a great-grandma after all, at least not yet.  Our granddaughter lost the baby at 13 weeks.  Very sad.  I had three miscarriages before we finally had our son so I know how she feels.  Just thought I'd share....

Sorry to hear that your grand daughter lost her baby.  I know you were excited about being a great-grandmother.

Thanks, Jesse.  Yeah, I was excited but it will happen sometime in the future.  Megan is doing fine now.

Diana, I just want to say thank you again for this our wonderful Class of '60 website.  I enjoy it so much and so often.    I always look forward to  the seasonal photos of your home.  It is really heartwarming for you to welcome us to your lovely home on the Home Page.  I just love it!!!  I'm so homesick for some snow after seeing your most recent photo.  Hope we get some this winter here in northern Arizona.

Also I really enjoyed the photos and videos of the Class Reunion you posted for us!!  It was the closest I could come to being there.  I loved seeing my classmates visiting with each other on the videos.

Thanks too for adding the HOBBIES, ETC. to the website.  We have some very talented and artistic members in our class.  That was a great addition to the site!

Thanks again for all the work you do to help our class stay in touch and share our lives with each other.   I'm so glad it didn't end after the 50th Reunion.

Thank you, Nancy, for all you said about the website.  I'm happy my "labor of love" is enjoyed.  The website will continue until you tell me to stop...or I die...whichever comes first.

Congrats Jesse.., How can it be,  you must have gotten a very early start, we are much to young for Great Grands!!  Amazing how time has passed and here we are approaching 70.

Just had Marilyn Powell Tallent up for the weekend, we sure had some fun and laughs.  We still seem like kids ourselves when we get together.

We are just starting to dry out up here in the foothills, but the mountains are still loaded with snow.  This was a winter to match Diana's Idaho.

Did you all guess who is in the prom picture?  Of course it's Guida Daniel and Gary Gantner.  Aren't they cute?  and young?

I'm so happy we are having such a great response from everyone to attend the 70th B-day party.  Several of you are coming who didn't attend our 50th reunion.  Hope to see a lot more names as time goes on.  It's gonna be fun.

Suggestions for music at our birthday party:

Anything by Elvis, the Beach Boys, the Kingston trio,  Bobby Darrin.

Also,  "The Great Pretender",  "There Goes My Baby",  "Dream Lover",  "Love Letters in the Sand".

And how about some comic relief--Shelley Berman, or Jim Baccus'  "Champagne.

Sherman Vinson

Hi.... We finally got over to Buena Park to check out the RV park. Spots were too small for us. It would of worked, but the Nelsons and Sherman & I decided it would be more fun staying at the Radisson Suites. Free parking and the shuttle make it very enticing. Nice choice, It's a beautiful place. See you all there! ...Susann

Hi, Susann - I'm so glad you're staying at the hotel.  I hope you were able to get the discount rate.  I'm glad you like the hotel - it is pretty, isn't it and the rooms are very nice.  See you soon.

Diana

Dearest Diana,

Thank you, most especially, and All who made our 70th Birthday Party such a wonderful success!  Knott's Berry Farm was the perfect venue for this event.  It was so nice to be able to talk with people I didn't see or barely saw at the 50th Reunion.  I had such a good time--which began with great excitement when my plane was hit by lightning on approach to LAX on Friday the 13th!

Your idea of the Queen Mary for our 55th Reunion sounds really good to me--and, I've been saying that if time goes by as fast as it has the past two years, that's going to be practically tomorrow!

Thank you again, so much!

Love, Kathie

Oh my gosh, Kathie, my plane was hit by lightening too on Friday when decending into LAX and it was a rollercoaster ride!!  That was quite an experience wasn't it?  Never had that happen before and hope it doesn't happen again.

You're right, time is flying by and three years will be here in no time.  All suggestions for the 55th location are welcome.  I just hope everyone can attend and will plan ahead for April, 2015.  April seems to work well for most people.  I'll check on the Queen Mary.

So glad you had a good time.  Knott's was a great location, so easy and convenient for most everyone...and the price was great.
