I'm very sad to report the death of John Giambi. He died Saturday, July 20, 2019. Apparently he had been going through several health issues the last couple of years and was on dialysis treatments. John was a great guy. I remember him as kind, friendly and lots of fun. As many of you know, both of his sons were pro baseball players. I remember watching a game on ESPN a few years ago, and the camera caught a shot of John in the stands. The commentators coudn't say enough about John - highly regarded. Best wishes and prayers to his family.

I am deeply saddened by John's passing We saw each other a few years ago in West Covina when field of dreams was established Our daughters were friends at South Hills and played softball together and were teammates John was a kind man and wonderful father. He will be missed

So sorry to hear of John’s death. We grew up only a few doors down from each other and I have fond memories of doing things together - meeting at my Aunt’s house with his brothers and sister dancing to American Bandstand and playing baseball and kickball in the streets after school and during the summer. I used to see him once in a while when I was home during the summer when his sister still lived on Idahome St. John was always friendly and interested in what the family was doing. God bless him and his family during this difficult time. Any information on funeral arrangements.
