Michael died from a heart attack at work on 1/3/03. Michael served in the Army in Vietnam. He was married briefly to classmate Susan Malson with whom he had his only child, a daughter. He was able to see his first grandchild shortly before his untimely death. At one time he owned a small bar and later worked in real estate sales. He was living in Illinois and working for a manufacturing firm when he died.
