Since someone else has already mentioned it, I do remember "Wonder Woman" (Tina Bishop) falling from the ceiling during a Pep Ralley. Come on, if you were there, how could you forget that?
In high school, as much as I loved being there, I felt non-existent. Academically I did very well, though never thought that others realized it. Often I wondered if my family's (non)social and financial class affected how others accepted me. (Yeah, I know I did some stupid things, but others did just as stupid things too.)
This affects how I treat people today. Working in a private Christian school, I have interaction with doctors, business owners and families that sacrifice to keep their children in a private school setting. For you to watch me on my job, you would not be able to distinguish between any of the children or families by how I interact with or treat them. |
I am leaving my job of 11 years on June 2. It is bitter-sweet walking away from the bestest job ever. God willing, if this is where I am to work, my position will be open for me to return in two years. This is at work September 2009.
Brad is my middle child. He 's my child who is most like I was (not always thinking before acting), which sometimes worries me; other times I laugh about it. Over my shoulder you can see a couple small pics of Brad & Brittney when they were much younger.
My baby, Brittney, who will be 16 in June. This was at our church's 2009 Mother's Day Banquet. Brittney is usually busy making cards for people or, like me, cooking treats for them.
I ventured out alone to Huntington Beach, California for Spring Break to visit a cousin I had not seen in 35 years. I had a great time but didn't stay long enough. My children were the only thing that kept me from staying longer (really the reason why I didn't stay there!). That's the Queen Mary behind me. April 10, 2009
