Jimmy was buried October 21, 1995. At his time of death, he left to cherish his memories: His mother and father, Leona & Johnny Freeman Sr. of Covington, 1 son Jimmile LeBarian Freeman of Conyers, Ga. 3 sisters: Charlotte Barnes, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Traylor (Barbara), Mr. & Mrs Johnny Hightower Sr. (Gwendolyn). 2 Brothers: Johnny Freeman Jr. and Danny Freeman all of Covington. 5 aunts, 3 uncles, 2 nieces, 4 nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
He accepted Christ at a early age and united in membership with the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Covington, Ga.
After graduating in 1979, he continued his education at Truett McConnell College and later went to work for Hercules Inc. In Covington, Ga.

He will always be remembered by his family and friends as a kind loving and caring person with a deep passion for playing tennis, for which he earned numerous awards, certificates, and trophies of excellence and a scholarship.
