CUMBERLAND — A 50-year-old city man was found deceased Thursday when his vehicle was discovered down an embankment and against a tree in the 14000 block of Old Oldtown Road, according to the Allegany County Bureau of Police.

Blaine Franklin Heller, 50, of Blackiston Avenue, was found deceased in his vehicle following a crash that may have been the result of a medical condition that he suffered while driving a 1992 Ford passenger vehicle along Old Oldtown Road, police said.

Police said the crash was discovered at 7:49 a.m. and was reported to the Allegany County 911 center at that time. District 16 Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene along with the Bureau of Police.

The crash apparently occurred some time before it was discovered, police said.
