Welcome to the John Jay High Class Of 1965 web site. It's been created to help us find missing classmates and serve as a central location for us to communicate privately.  Hopefully, as time passes, we'll use it to plan our 50th reunion.

Use the site as a central point to find where our JJHS "Class of 65" and special friends can be found.  Then exchange email, home addresses and telephone contact information as you desire.

The site will always remain free to use.  We'll minimize "sign in" requirements, not "clutter up" each page with slow loading advertisements and none of the information entered will be shared beyond the site.  The site has been funded for the first year.  If we show interest in using it, we'll work at keeping "on-line" for continued use.

Feel free to explore the site, add your pictures and make suggestions you'd like to see for improvement.

And, most importantly, please try your best to send us any link or thread you can think of to find classmates listed as "missing". We'll follow up and try to locate and reduce the number of classmates that are listed as missing.   It would be great to report that we've "found" a missing classmate every few weeks.

A "thread" would be something like this - "My former sister-in-law was once married to so-and-so's brother.  Perhaps if you contact him at 555-55-5555 or email him at ----.--- he can help you find so-and-so".  No matter how complicated or convoluted it may seem, you'd be surprised at how much that "beginning thread" can help.

Thank you for your help and enjoy your "dedicated" site,

Jean Sayles (Dalton), Ellen Hirning (Schmidt) and Frank Buzerak

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sorry to inform the members of the class of '65 that Bob Williams, revered and respected guidance counselor died early this morning. He had been in declining health for some time. He was a fine gentleman totally dedicated to the welfare of all students, and a good friend to all of us. Please keep him in your hearts.
