I've been having babies, and watching my a-- getting wider.
I can't wait to get out of my double wide and drink some beers with you guys!
Ok,ok... my sister told me to write the things that I've been up to because at the reunion I won't be able to catch up with everyone (she is'78 Alumni)...So if you're interested hang on to your hats:
After graduation, I danced (not the pole variety) for different groups and traveled. I decided to pursue musical theatre, so I went to SJSU, which is when I opened my first business "Teeney Tappers" (I taught 3-5 yr olds tap dance). I then was one of the founders of a dance company called Jampact that is still touring (from what I hear).
I was getting a major in Dance and minor in Child Development, which I dropped my last semester cause my fiance was recruited to play football at UAB. That's right I moved to Alabama, what was I thinking , right?
We broke up and I moved to New York. I lived with Erin Wahl ('88 Alum)for a short while. We lived in the Village, and I was going to dance auditions. I soon realized that I hated NY (and dancing)and moved to Maui, where I worked as a cocktail waitress and bartender. I soon got a Kidney infection swimming and surfing in contaminated waters, so I went home to move in with my parents (low point).
Upon my return I met my handsome prince. I trapped him fair and square! We had two daughters Korina and Izabella. We opened our first business together Dibert Property Management, after we bought houses in Pennslyvania (we're going to move in two years...we've been saying that since 2000).
I started teaching aerobics thanks to Jeanee Begg ('88 alum). Soon after that I got into personal training where I opened my business Envision Health and Fitness(Craig Uyeda..hook me up with the athletes!).
After my dad passed, I really got into charity work. The one that is close to my heart is foster care. I've had many kids in and out of our house. We now have Jacob, which looks like we'll be able to adopt him by the end of this summer...yeah! I soon realized there was a need for foster/adoptive parents to support each other,so I opened my online business called www.Stuff-4-kids.org.
So between being a full time mom, personal trainer, property manager, managing stuff-4-kids,going to daisey's, girl scouts, and karate.....not much has been going on.
BUT, we'll live happily ever after! |
