Michael Smitherman, age 51, of Rocky Face, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Mary Goble, Martha Lowe and William Smitherman.
Mr. Smitherman was a member of Mount Rachel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lee Smitherman of Rocky Face; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and David Calhoun of Cohutta; step-daughter, Kolbee Walkey of Dalton; step-sons, Micah Walkey and Blake Walkey, both of Dalton; mother and step-father, Mary and Dennis Head of Dalton; father and step-mother, William and Sandy Smitherman of Chatsworth; grandchild, Bristol Calhoun; step-grandchild, Emerson Miller. Several aunts and uncles also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Marty Greene officiating at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Rocky Face, Ga.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are by Julian Peeples Funeral Home, 2627 Chattanooga Road, Rocky Face, GA. Michael was cremated.
