I went to UConn at Storrs and after graduation in 1974, I moved to New Jersey. In 1988 I moved back to Danbury and have been here ever since. I commute into NYC everyday (something I like to call "my time" - time to read, sleep, do the NY Times crossword, time not to do housework!). During the intervening years, I did a stint a Rolex Watch for 5 years in sales, then moved into law as a paralegal and for 8 years I had my own wordprocessing business, Legal Viewpoint, doing contract work for law firms, working up the files to the point of settlement or trial. I moved into Recruiting, running the recruiting and summer program at Nixon Peabody for 6 years and I'm currently the lateral recruiting coordinator at Jones Day, recruiting mainly partners and associates, but with students for our summer program as well. There you have it, my life in 1000 words or less!
