Melissa and I both knew debbie when we werent even in high school yet. I met her through her neighbor downstairs because i went to school with her. I went to her wake but not her funeral so I never knew where she was buried melissa and I finally found her at st peters cemetary at her family plot. Whats messed up is we guess the people maintaining the place broke her name plate on the ground so she doesnt even have an ackknowlegment she was even alive and i recently found out her mother passed this year you wont believe it on the same day as her daughter!   And I know her father is in Stratford but dont thik anyone has been at her grave since she died I would replace her name plate that was broke but Im not family so I dont know if they would let me but she deserves better than what she got it broke my heart when i got the call and how she died all she ever wanted was someone to care about her. My fondest memory that sticks in my head the most is the day she told me danbury high got in vited to be in the macys parade in 87 she was so excited it was her first year there and she got to do something very few ever got to do. My name is Raymond Martinez and I knew her since she was 12 I miss you debbie. Hope your playing your flute for the angels in heaven . Til we meet again.
