Life is good!
I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Administration. Decided working in a cube wasn't for me and my heart certainly wasn't in the world of business, so went on to get my cosmetology degree. I always loved the creative side of doing hair and make-up and found a real talent for it, it is a wonderful artistic out-let and the best feeling in the world to get to make so many people happy and feel good.
I will be celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary with my wonderful husband, dan, this september and never thought it was possible to be so lucky. He's my soul-mate, my rock and my best friend.
We decided not to have kids, and just play and be kids ourselves and love our pets.
I don't ride as much as i'd like, we own a morgan, but he lives back at my parents' house, just too hard to find the right place to board him here and were still few a years out from moving to our dream place in the country! Plus, we have a lovely home and lovely neighbors and pretty much love where we are now. I still paint, and having a very tolerant husband, have expanded my art to the walls and ceiling of the house, as well as many of the windows!
Dan is a programmer, sometimes teaches at GRCC as well, and is currently teaching me web-design, which I am finding I enjoy. I love doing hair, but I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!! lol So, what the hell, my journey continues...there is so much out there to try! :)
For now, I try to keep my mind and heart open and ever-expanding, enjoy the love of my husband and laugh and have fun as much as possible. Hasn't all been peaches and cream during this life, but if everything truly does happen for a reason, then every adversity has actually had it's point in the end, and I am grateful to everything that has happened to bring me to where I am. :)
