I got a call from Tim's brother shortly after the reunion. Tim died from cancer, he was honorably discharged from the service after he got to the point that he could not longer serve.
I know that I didn't really get a chance to know Tim, He came to Dansville late, and I'm sure he always kind of felt like he was on the outside.
What I did know of him, he was always a nice guy, kinda quiet it seemed, but I took many an English class with him, and he was always fun to hang around!
I know Tim attended Sniper school in the service, and I thought I heard mention that he did serve a few tours in Iraq.
Sad to hear of his passing, but I appreciate all of the sacrifices he made while serving our country.
