Obituary

Our beloved mother, PAULINE ELIZABETH PACKARD, 87, of Ventura passed away on Monday 3, 2014, joining Dad on his birthday.

Born October 16, 1927 to Paul and Mary Kurator in Gary Indiana, Pauline was the oldest of 6 siblings. Polly worked for Illinois Bell Telephone before joining the United State Air Force where she met her husband of 56 years, Monte Packard, She worked for Sears until her retirement at which she volunteered at Community Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Ventura Chapter of the Young Ladies Institute (YLI).

She is survived by her children, Son, Monty F. Packard (wife Deb), Daughter Cyndee McDaniel, (husband Norm), grandchildren, Celia, Zachary and Molly, great granddaughter, Taylin, sisters: Sister M. Paul, Theresa Mathis, and Barbara Kurator; nieces: Paula Mathis, Eileen Ellevan; nephew: Martin Mathis, Lance Young, Lynn Young, her faithful cat, Hanzee and many loving friends. Pauline was preceded in death by husband Monte, her parents, Paul and Mary Kurator, brothers, William and Paul Kurator, Sister, Mary Kurator.

A celebration of Pauline's life will take place Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in honor of her name to: St. Jude's Children's Research, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148
