Ann Marie Betley

November 20, 1936 - January 31, 2015

Ann Marie Betley, 78 of Danville went home to God on January 31, 2015. Ann Marie was born on November 20, 1936 in Yonkers, NY; a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lutter) Betley. Ann started her schooling in Yonkers but later graduated from St, Cyril Academy in 1956. Following graduation, Ann Marie was employed by the Sisters of SS Cyril and Methodius from 1956 until her retirement.

She was a resident of the Meadows at Maria Joseph CCC for several years and was later cared for at the Emmanuel Nursing Center. Ann Marie is survived by one sister, Teresa Halay of Danville; two nephews, Michael along with his wife Renee Halay of CO and Frank along with his wife Karen Halay of NY; and five grand nieces and nephews: Jeffrey Halay of TX, Benjamin Halay of OR, Adam Halay of NY, Tiffany (Halay) Skinner of UT, and Ashley (Reed) Forsyth of TX.  A memorial service to celebrate Ann Marie's life will be held on February 20, 2015 at 11:15AM at the Emmanuel Center. Interment will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
