Charlene Demyan (Preletz) - Class Of 1956

Charlene A. Preletz, 77, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born November 9, 1938 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Labanick) Demyan. Charlene was a graduate of Holy Family University. She dedicated her life to her family and was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends. Charlene was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish. Survivors: She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Nicole Griffin and her husband, Matt of Lower Nazareth; Cheryl Campbell of Bethlehem; and Kimberly Preletz of Wyoming; sons, Anthony Preletz and his wife, Jayne of Lower Nazareth; and Rudolph Preletz, III and his wife, Lori of Bath; daughter-in-law, Kelly Preletz, wife of the late Charles "Chuck" Preletz of Collegeville; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Joseph and Charles and sisters, Helen Demyan and Pauline Ortwein. Services: A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Saturday at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Contributions: Memorial contributions may be made to the church and/or to St. Luke's Hospice Endowment Fund, 240 Union Station Plaza, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
