The one thing that sits out in my mind about Jenise is her smile! The last time I saw Jenise was at LaComedia prior to having her 2nd child. I was happy to see her and heart broken to hear of her passing...I always thought she was beautiful and pleasant to be around.

The other thing I remember about Jenise...we were in Gym class together and she had a Mary Kay compact -- that's when you had to mix the eye shadow with water -- what a weird memory except I use Mary Kay religously.

She is saved so I know I will see her again! God Bless her husband, children and parents.

I met Jenise when we were in the 8th grade and took dance class together at Richardson School of Dance, formerly on Salem Avenue. We had such a great time in class, and did more talking than dancing! :) I guess the dance teacher was gonna get us one day, so had Jenise, me and another demonstrate some moves to the rest of the class, but we had it down pat, and she couldn't say a word. Now that's multi-tasking!!! We had our dance recital at the Dayton Convention Center.

Imagine how surprised we were to see each other at Stivers! The good times continued!!!!

Time is flying.  In just a few moments it will be the 15th Anniversary of Jenise's passing.  I lost my mother in 2013 and I cannot imagine what life would have been to never know my mother or lose her at such a young age.  I think Jenise had two boys.  Michael her twin passed away...I am just being very reflective these days.  Jenise, you will never be forgotten.  Blessing to your family.
