I have to admit I am so surprised at this. He was our valedictorian and I expected him to do some outstanding things in this world and live a long life. I have wondered what happened to him over the years, so it saddens me that he is no longer with us.

I have known now for some time that Mark had passed away. I am still as shocked as the day I heard this upsetting news. Some of you from the Miami Chapel days know that I had a very big crush on him. One regret that I have to this day is that I didn't get to know him better. He really was a very sincere person with a great head on his shoulders. I'll always remember you Mark.

Wow. I had no idea that Mark had passed away. I reconnected with him when he was at Pfizer through one of my friends in the finance department in 1998 and then again when I worked on the Traveler's IPO in 2000/01. He was always a non-pretentious person and seemed genuinely embarassed when I told others on their trading desk that he was the class Valedictorian.

If I remember correctly he was a very good soccer player and I always remember him as quietly competitive. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Take time to reach out to your friends, this is a short ride.

Mark will truly be missed by me. I had heard of his passing shortly after he had died. He was destined to do great things. He had a wonderful personality. I remember during high school he was always teasing me about being second best, even though we were tied for #1 in the class up until our last semester at Patterson. I always new he was smarter than me but the competition kept me on my toes and striving to exceed the bar he had set. Being #2 in the class standing next to him didn't feel less it was an honor. Few knew that he had an incredible memory and rarely took notes in class. I can see him now looking at the board, transfixed, twirling his pencil, never writing down a single word but would always end up getting an "A" on the test. What a guy. Our prayers are with the family.
