Dear Classmates--The Covid-19 pandemic is turning our world on its ear. Now more than ever, we need community. If you are feeling isolated and afraid, please know that you are not alone! Even if we cannot get together in person, we can still connect.

Anne Shank Hilton and I took a walk yesterday--six feet apart at all times, promise! We strolled to the high school and checked out our class bench. It's looking a bit lonely right now with all the kids at home. However, when they return--and they will--our beloved OHS will be there to offer them welcome and shelter.

When we were seventeen, did any of us imagine the reality of social media? It has its problems, but it can be an amazing tool as well, especially now. Please remember that we have a Class Facebook page. It's a free and easy place to post old photos, tell us about your pets, wish one another Happy Birthday (or Happy Anniversary. Bruce '78 and I celebrate our 34th tomorrow! Here is the link:

Stay in touch, reach out to others in need, and if you need help or some encouragement, ASK. We are stronger together.

Peace and health,

Leslie Simms Nagel
