Attractions

Hesston Steam Museum is approx. 10 miles south of the Inn. It has 2.5 miles of tracks on which you can ride 1/4 and 1/8 scale steam locomotives!www.hesston.org

Outside Magazine rates New Buffalo as one of the best places in North America to learn to surf. Offers lessons for surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sandboarding and skimboarding. Offers kayak or stand-up paddleboard tours on the Galien River. www.thirdcoastsurfshop.com

Silver Lake Sand dunes (Hart, MI) is approx. 2.5 hours north of the inn. Features beaches, lighthouse,san dune rides. www.thinkdunes.com

Warren Dunes State Park: Experience 3 miles of beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline, 6 miles of hiking trails and hilly sand dunes that tower over 240 feet above Lake Michigan giving visitors spectacular views. Approx 7 miles, 8 mins from inn.

Saugatuck, MI is approx 1hr 10 min north of the inn.
Just recently the National Trust for Historic Preservation selected Saugatuck/Douglas as one of the Dozen Distinctive Destinations in the United States and the writers and editors of Midwest Living Magazine ranked Saugatuck/Douglas fifth among the top 100 vacation destinations in the Midwest.The town's Oval Beach is ranked one of the top 25 beaches in the world by Condé Nast and one of the top two in the USA by National Geographic Traveler. www.saugatuck.com
