Mark, Great to hear your updates. Good to know you made it home for family time. I recently drove to Pittsburgh for the Chargers game and slid all the way through ohio like a bobsledder, then fell asleep behind the wheel,"griswold style" a couple of times coming back that night or morning. I just spent nearly the last two weeks running up near Lake Michigan and Lake Erie. Don't let anyone ever kid you about any lake-effect snow because IT HAPPENS. I was heading west from Buffalo back to Chicago a little over a week ago, and I suddenly found myself in white-out conditions for about a fifteen-mile stretch in southwestern New York and into Pennsylvania. It amazes me that even people who are from that area don't know how to drive in such rotten conditions. I'm just thankful none of them decided to put their skis on while they were still thinking they could drive 65mph through that mess.

(I hope you were cheering for the Chargers -- the Steelers are mortal enemies of us Bills fans, ya know.)

Candy Verner (Bramlett) I saw in The Decatur Daily where Mrs. Betty Jo Atkinson died on March 10th at the age of 79. She was one of my English teachers at DHS. She retired the year we graduated. She was a great teacher.

Julie Stewart I honestly don't know what happened to Jay, but someone posted on FB that it was a result of an OD. I hope this was not the case.
