Cincinnati - Norris Lee Asbury, 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was born to William J. Asbury and Ida Belle (McClendon) Asbury on September 15, 1950 in Cincinnati. He worked for Rainbow and Butternut Breads as a salesman for over 30 years. Norris was a fanatical Cincinnati Sports fan and faithfully attended Bengals games, ushered for UC Bearcats Basketball, FC Cincinnati and loved attending Reds Opening Day. He also loved his Covington Catholic High School Sports Family. When not attending games he could be found on the golf course. Norris is survived by his daughters; Kinyata (Lawrence) Carter and Kyra (Justin) Asbury-Webb, siblings; Bill (Debbie) Asbury, Frank (Henri) Asbury, Carolyn Luckey, Ron (Sandy) Asbury and Catherine Ingram, granddaughter Ihsan Asbury, many nieces, nephews, and special friends Courtney, Sarah, Seth, and Shane. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at the Spring Grove Funeral Home (4389 Spring Grove Ave, 45223) on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm when the memorial services will begin.
